Satoshi Nak-AI-moto is born

Artificial intelligence enthusiasts Pierre Corbin and Hugo Ferrer have developed an AI chatbot called "Talk2Satoshi" that aims to recreate the experience of conversing with Bitcoin creator Satoshi Nakamoto.

The chatbot utilizes OpenAI's ChatGPT model trained on Nakamoto's public emails and forum posts, as well as other relevant sources.

While the chatbot generates responses that express optimism about Bitcoin and uncertainty regarding fiat currencies, its knowledge is not up to date with recent Bitcoin developments.

Despite this limitation, the chatbot demonstrates the potential of AI tools in educational settings, as it can competently address questions about Bitcoin and explain its workings.

Cuba Bitcoin community hosts BTC-only meetup

Cuba's first Bitcoin-only meetup recently took place, attended by over 60 people and hosted by Cuba Bitcoin at the Bitcoin-friendly venue Pazillo.

Despite limited internet access and financial constraints, Cubans are increasingly turning to cryptocurrency as a means of financial freedom.

The meetup aimed to educate attendees about the potential of Bitcoin in Cuba and featured a diverse range of participants, including small business owners, software developers, and even grandmothers.

While mobile internet penetration remains low, Cubans engage in peer-to-peer Bitcoin transactions through Telegram trading groups, with more businesses in Havana accepting Bitcoin as a form of payment.

The success of the meetup has inspired the community to organize regular future events.

CleanSpark Buys 12,500 more Bitcoin Miners

CleanSpark Inc. has made a significant investment by purchasing 12,500 Antminer S19 XP bitcoin mining machines for $40.5 million, acquiring them at a lower price than the current market average.

The machines will be shipped in two batches, with 6,000 scheduled for June and the remaining 6,500 for August.

CleanSpark's CEO, Zach Bradford, expressed confidence in the purchase, aiming to meet their year-end target and become one of the most power-efficient miners.

The company has been capitalizing on discounted machine purchases, and these acquisitions are vital in preparation for the upcoming bitcoin halving, ensuring higher margins and expanding their mining capacity.
